Anyone know the status of Scott Parker?
Is he alive? Is he training to make a team if he's invited to a camp?
Did he disappear off the face of the earth? Where is The Sheriff??
You gotta think some team would at least invite him to camp and
maybe give him a one year deal to see how he'll do. He deserves another
chance and he should be completely healthy after a long layoff.

Thanks for finding that. I was wondering what happened to him. Retired at 32, I remember when he was considered a big time power forward prospect in the mid to late 90s.

Has Bertuzzi ever thrown a punch besides at Steve Moore? He shouldn't even be mentioned when it comes to fighters!

The Hawks could use someone as a HW to take care of businesss if need be. It would have been nice for them to go after Laraque or Shelley, but, oh well. God knows Colin Fraser is definitely NOT a heavyweight. With all that young talent, let's get someone in there to clean up the mess, if need be. They have the $ and should use it accordingly. Fraser a HW!?! Who in the hell....no way.

Raitis Ivanans becomes a UFA after this season. I think he will be moved prior to the deadline or play out his last season in LA. I do not see LA resigning him, since they gave Westgarth a 3 year contract. But, who knows anything could happen. He is liked a lot in the locker room.

Prust will be resigned and hopefully the Rangers bring back Shelley. He sounded like a mature guy and leader to me and plays smart!
