Perhaps the Bruins get a HW. The Eastern Conference (especially the Northeast) is a pretty tough Conference.

I doubt we'll see it, but maybe...

You guys already have Shawn Thornton, with a pretty impressive supporting cast in Chara and Lucic.

Buffalo needs a heavyweight that's going to play all year. If they go enforcerless, I'm gonna flip my ****. Throw an offer sheet in on Westgarth, or get Mitch Fritz. Fritz is no worse than that train wreck Andrew Peters has been over the last few years, and he's a legit heavy who can beat anyone on a given night.

I know that. But I definitely dont want to see Chara fight more that 4 times or Lucic more than 10 (or so).

I am just a little concerned if Shawn can handle the majority of the physicality. He seemed to lose his nastiness last year.

What is PLB's contract? 2 way? The Devils. And Reckers from Isles?

Zdeno Chara is big, but fighting is not why he is in the nhl.

And here I thought he won the Norris for his fistic abilities...

He is a very talented offensive hockey player dont get me wrong, but I question how good of a fighter/enforcer he really is.

You can remove Paul Bissonnnette:
"Last thing, as far as RFA news goes, Paul Bissonnette was already under contract for next season, despite what some Web sites said (including this one at one point). Sorry about that."
http://community.citizensvoice.com/b.../rfa-news.aspx

Also, Taylor Pyatt could be added to the list as a UFA.

Thanks. I'll take Biz Nasty off the list. Pyatt has never fought more than twice in a season, and only has 9 fighting majors total in the last 8 seasons, so I don't consider him a fighter. I will give him credit though, on the rare occasions that he does drop the gloves his fights tend to be pretty decent.

Leblond signed a three year contract with a cap hit of 525K, and its a two way deal. I'm almost positive he will make the Devils team full time this year. Recker is also on a two-way deal, signed through the next two seasons at 525K per year, but unless the Isles add a HW I don't see any reason to think he wouldn't make their team. They aren't going anywhere, and someone needs to protect Tavares.
