I could care less about Rosehill being a 1-1-1 fighter. He's f*cking great to see. I think he is much more exciting than Godard to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Godard. He would win more and is a better fighter than Rosehill. Godard is a generic heavyweight enforcer. I like that, I really like that.

But Rosehill's entertainment stock is crazy. His entertainment rate on DYG.com is 6,1. Most of his fights are rated better than 6/10. He's an open fighter. When in trouble, Godard will hug or duck so he's not punched in the face, while Rosehill is just going to fire missing haymakers everywhere. It gives us fights like the fight he's had against McGrattan. He lacks brains but never gives up heart, and the result of this, is that most of his fights are f*cking exciting to see. When Rosehill drops the gloves, you know you will see something exciting, regardless the outcome of the fight.

Jay Rosehill vs Milan Lucic Mar 31, 2011 -...

Francis Lessard vs Jay Rosehill Feb 19, 2011 ...

Jay Rosehill vs Brian McGrattan Nov 17, 2011 ...

I wish the Ducks would sign Rosehill.

Staubitz isn't enough.

Brad Staubitz will do just fine considering he's playing in the western conference... man it's sad, but that's the way it is now.

Bollig, Boll, Reaves, Jackman, McLeod, Hordichuk, Kassian, Clifford and possibly Bissonnette and Clowe... Staubitz can fare well against all of these guys. The only fighters he should be afraid of are Brian McGrattan and Matt Kassian.

It's not like if he was playing in the Atlantic or Northwest division.

Staubitz couldn't handle the job when he was in Minnesota. Now, they have opted to go with Kassian and Konopka as a 1-2 combo.

But we'll see how the pacific rosters end up. All of the franchises have young tough players that can play in the NHL next year.

Because Minny has a history of carrying the toughest fighters in the league. Johnson, Boogaard, Scott and now Kassian. Sure Staubitz wasn't enough for them.

That's a rational response.

Hopefully Eric "The Hand of God" Godard is next year's comeback story.

Staubitz is rather willing, even though he's a downgrade from Parros in both fighting and playing ability, he has fought Rupp, Boll, Ivanans, [although Ivanans took an instigator so it doesn't count] Hordichuk, Parros, Janssen, and Konopka. John Scott also took an instigator and fought him, along with MacIntyre who he ran from. He couldn't get it done in Minny because he's better as the #2 in a 1-2 punch and fit in better last year when he was with Kassian as well, but he did fine as THE guy in Montreal. Hopefully Staubitz takes over Parros' duties entirely, including fighting Kassian and McGrattan.

I second that. Has anyone heard anything about where he might end up next season? I'm hoping he isn't considering retirement. But if he sticks around I'd rather see him back in the NHL than playing in the AHL or KHL. I'm guessing EG is of a similar mentality and will walk away from the game quietly if he has no choice. Dallas bought him out meaning he's got around 250,000 dollars a year coming in for the next two years. That's enough money to sit back and think about doing something else with your future...

I'm hoping Michel Therrien is thinking about giving him a chance...

Yes, looked it up, he was extended on June 14. TSN's FA tracker wasn't updated.
