he needs to be in a good situation though to succeed. with all the injuries that he had this past year, i think that its gonna be hard for him to get a guaranteed nhl deal, but who knows brian burke is as loose of a cannon as they come so....

I'd like to see the Hawks give Bissonnette a shot with the team and perhaps move Fraser or Burish or Eager.
Problem is all three of them had solid post seasons, and the organ-I-zation really applauded thier efforts.

Was he just re-signed? He's an RFA. Could go either way. On the one hand who wants to give compensation for a guy who may not make your team and play a regular shift, on the other hand, if you have Eric Godard are you worried about losing a RFA tough guy?
