Thank you, someone with a level head around here... people bitching out rinaldo because mcginn got caught with a nice right to the eye? makes no sense. If you want to rag on Rinaldo for clearly turning down Brown for whatever reasons, then go ahead.. but McGinn knows what he is getting himself into.. and let's also not forget, he wants to stay up and since scrapping is part of his game, he's going to do whatever it takes to stay up with the Flyers.

What I saw on the face off was Brown and McGinn having words, McGinn shaking his head "yes", indicating that he would love to oblige Brown and away they went... who cares about Rinaldo at that point?

How McGinn broke his orbital bone and Rinaldo being a puss have nothing to do with each other.

I know Carcillo vs Gaborik from a while ago was a lot different as McGinn has established himself as somewhat of a fighter, but it's hard for me to think that someone shouldn't have gotten in there in either case.

McGinn did do a great job in the fight and I never said he didn't, Brown caught him with a good shot. I'm just saying in my mind, Rinaldo should be the guy taking Brown off the ice, not Simmonds, Hartnell, McGinn, Schenn, etc.
"Was getting first line time" is right. That was when Simmonds and Hartnell were out. McGinn is not a first line player anymore. He was a 4th line player in this game. He was worth 4th line minutes with the other guys back in the line up and HE IS EXACTLY THE PLAYER THAT SHOULD FIGHT BROWN.

I am not saying Rinaldo shouldn't have or couldn't have, but there is nothing wrong with McGinn going. He got caught with a shot, no big deal.

I love how on the voting 8.5 percent said McGinn won, and 4.9 said draw. The voting here is just flat out terrible.

I hope McGinn comes back and isnt afraid to drop them like he has been. I love both McGinn's maybe they can play on same team soon. Jamie wouldl ook good as a Flyer.
