Good they signed him. Now all they gotta do is play him. Carcillo on the move? Or is Shelley done in the Black and Orange?

I wasnt to impressed with Shelley last year. He won some fights but just didnt see him as a huge factor. I would like to see him gone and Carcillo gone. Or Carcillo back to the old Carcillo. I would be happy with Sestito and Rinaldo and possibly a healthy Walker back on D. (dout that would happen) I know that isnt a killer line up but they know there role and could bring some life back to the Flyers. I must be honest I just dont know what they should do when it comes to this .

God Bless him but I would'nt miss Shelley either. Would be nice to see Carcillo go back to his "old ways" but with Lavy its doubtful. Even when healthy(in Tampa)Walker did'nt fight all that much so while I like Rinaldo I would rather have Sestito do the fighting. But.....what do I know?????

Shelley still has 2 more years left on his contract. He'd have to be bought out in order to not be back.

I saw Sestito play a few times in the A, he's not bad. He rattles guys along the boards with some regularity. He's a bit of a punching bag, but he'll drop the gloves with some tough dudes. Sort of like Tim Jackman in that regard, maybe a wee bit tougher.

Yes Lavy did put the handcuffs on Carcillo pretty tight. But at the same time when he did drop the gloves he didnt fare well, and with a few guys he should have handled easy. So as much as I understand he was forced to play a role that just didnt fit him, he should have had some wins when he did fight. I mean you could tell he was holding back lots of aggresion when he played so he should have exploded when he did fight ..

As for Shelley he will prob be back next year. Wish we had him when Cote was playing, then Cote could have stayed in his weight class. Well what ever happens i would like to see Rinaldo start with the team. As muck as I would like Sestito to get some play time but just dont see it happening if Shelly stays.

Shelley could be done, But it would take Sestito crushing him in Training Camp.
