Flyers Re-Sign Mike Testwuide; Sign Danny Syvret and Cullen Eddy
Per Twitter;
Quote:
Mike Testwuide has been good for 4 or 5 fights a year as well, and will put up 30+ points at the AHL level. Danny Syvret is the prototypical 8th defenseman in the organization that can be called up if needed, this is his third tour of duty with the Flyers (2008-10, 2010-11).

Cullen Eddy is a good signing. He can be of service on the offensive, may not produce a lot of points but he'll help set things up. Not a great fighter but fearless and it doesn't matter who. He took a beating from PL3 2 seasons ago standing up for his goalie. Hope he gets a recall at some point. He was Brandon Manning's defensive partner in the A. Those two were arguably the Phantoms best D pair. A throwback pairing too as they both had about the same amount of fights. He also made Blake Kessel a healthy scratch on many nights and Kessel was on a pro contract/the higher "prospect."
Testwuide is interesting because he's not lived up to the expectations offensively. Syvret is a safety I think for Carle leaving. (If he does leave...I hope he does.)
