As per Mckenzie's tweeter.

They wouldn't be able to use him in the playoffs. Besides, the Flyers have been fine without him, I think.

I think youthattack makes a good point. Right now they have ochocinco, AKA Chad Johnson, backing up Henry and that could come back to haunt you. You never know what will happen so better to be safe than sorry. Also, If the Rangers make it in then they may play the Flyers and Leighton proved he could play some big games if needed. Snatch him up.

Umm once again, they wouldn't be able to play Leighton in the playoffs....

I dunno about that. Between the 3 of them, Bob obviously is the best when he is playing to the best of his ability, however, all of them in that group can look great one game, and like complete garbage the next. Boucher has looked like sh*t lately, and Bob has his days. I am still not sold on the good. He has got to learn how to play the puck better, stop kicking those rebounds right out infront of the net, and learn that flopping around isn't the key to goaltending. I am sure you saw him in the shootout Sunday against the Rangers,..that was terrible.

every goalie in the nhl has his bad days, Bob is a rook is way better then leighton as ever been. No one gives up softer goals then leighton. For gods sake dont get me started on him.

Per Flyers website, holmgren said its just a depth move for playoffs only. Sources say Bob is playoff starter, but wont be announced til after this weeks games

lol yea the shootout was terrible against the rangers, but did u see his shootout performance against the stars? night and day man like i said. Boucher and leighton both are worse at shootouts, but it wont matter cuz theres no shootouts in playoffs, therefore Bob is best option, take it or leave it so ima take it. Bob couldnt be any worse then leighton was last yr in the playoffs lol

And if he was that good, we wouldn't be talking about re-entry waivers...
