Just terrible. I rarely post these days because I don't want to sound like the bitter old fan, but it just keeps getting worse. I've really lost interest these last few years, but with it being gone for so long I've been watching a bit of late. I was actually watching this game and remember thinking to myself, that was actually a good hit, don't see those much these days, and then sure enough I see this. I just can't understand why they're trying so hard to eliminate big hits from the game. Same thing's happening in football though, so...

Pretty awful. At worst this was a 2 minute minor for charging for leaving his feet. But can't say these kind of rulings are at all unexpected.

As a Pens fan, I think the suspension is absolutely ridiculous. Was it an illegal hit, YES. Did he leave his feet, YES. But the defender saw it coming at the last minutes and prepared himself for the hit. The hit didn't cause an injury. I wouldn't have been surprised with a very small fine, but the suspension is a little too much. Heck, Hartnell's two hits from behind were worse than that hit.
