Flyers Assign Six to Phantoms

The Philadelphia Flyers have assigned Sean Curry, Claude Giroux, Nate Guenin, Jon Kalinski, Boyd Kane and Jared Ross to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms.

i think its a good thing giroux will be a phantom. he needs minutes and will not get them with the big club, at least not to start the season. i hope to see guenin called up during the season

So much for Nate Guenin getting the nod, he had a nice uneventful pre-season, and I haven't heard much of Claud Giroux, but maybe it'd be nice for him to get some games in the A.

Guenin got screwed over i think by our pacifistic moves on defense.

giroux was very unnoticeable in the pre season. he definitely needs to log some sustantial time with the phantoms before getting the call up. hopefully we some some of guenin with the big club sooner rather than later
