Flames sign Chucko

Calgary, AB – Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the signing of forward Kris Chucko.

Chucko, a native of Burnaby, British Columbia, spent the past three seasons with the Calgary Flames affiliate in the American Hockey League. Chucko finished second in goals (28) and third in team scoring (51 points) with the Quad City Flames last season, and played his first two NHL games with Calgary in March.

Chucko was the Calgary Flames 1st round pick (24th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.

Kris will also double as "Chucko the Clown" for the Flames' annual Bring Your Kid to Work Day.
