Flames Recall Godard and Moss From Omaha

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forwards Eric Godard and David Moss have been recalled from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (AHL).

Godard has played five games with the Flames this season, registering twelve penalty minutes.

The Calgary Flames play two road games, January 26th in Minnesota and January 28th in Chicago, before returning to the Pengrowth Saddledome on Tuesday, January 30th to face the Los Angeles Kings.

Yep! and we dont need a source for this cuz we new it was coming. But I hope that Godard is gonna be ok with Boogaard tomorrow cuz he faught henry last night and didnt do to good, he got beat in that fight and now he is gonna fight Boogy who is gonna be pissed about getting beat by Godard so hope he is ready! I am!

I cant wait to see this rematch. The time until the game tomorrow is like knowing that two trains are on a collision course, the only problem is that they were started at NYC and LA, and you have to wait for the train wreck in the middle...

You just know they are going to fight. I feel pretty comfortable calling this fight a lock...

Unless the refs are advised to call penalties so bad, that their is no 5 on 5 in the whole game.

Sweet! I can't wait to see this rematch between Boogaard and Godard. It should be a great fight. Godard beat him last time, but Boogaard will really be looking for a rematch. He doesn't like to lose and I have a feeling that he will be pretty mad tomorrow. Look for him to issue the challenge early in the game.

I'm excited for this game. I'm glad that Godard is back up... but man, the Flames really know how to use enforcers as human yo-yo's. First it was Prust, and now it's Godard. They call them up, and send them back down three days later. Then they get called back up, and get sent down a few days later. They go back and forth, haha. I wonder how long Godard will be up. Probably not for long, maybe just a few games. But at this rate, he will probably be back up again just a week after getting sent down!

Yesssir it was. I kinda miss Henry, ha who we kidding I do miss him. He was always willing and was a decent fighter. Hope he sometime gets the call up for Nashville.

Yeah I loved him on the Wild last year. Plays hard and was always willing to drop the gloves, and wasnt a bad fighter.

That wasnt a very good showing by Godard their, hope he brings his A game tomorrow.

Thats what I said, he didnt do good against henry but did against Boogaard and he better do what he did against Boogy last time
