Flames' Mark Giordano to Have Disciplinary Hearing
Calgary Flames defenseman Mark Giordano faces a fine hearing with the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety Tuesday evening for a slew-footing incident in a game Sunday against the Dallas Stars.
Giordano was assessed a tripping penalty against Antoine Roussel at the 11:53 mark of the second period in that game. The Flames defeated the Stars, 4-3. Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, any fine that could exceed $5,000 requires a hearing. |

Looks like a clear slew foot. No suspension, a fine would be enough.
