Flames Assign Paul Byron and Brett Carson to Abbotsford (AHL)

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today they have reduced their roster to 26 players by reassigning Paul Byron (C) and Brett Carson (D) to the Abbotsford Heat (AHL) while Henrik Karlsson (G) has been designated for assignment but remains with the team.

The Flames have two goalies, nine defencemen and 15 forwards remaining in camp.
