Eric Godard Recalled From Omaha
Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forward Eric Godard has been re-called from the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights (AHL).
This will be Godard’s second call-up to the Calgary Flames during the regular season. He previously played three games with the Flames, registering seven penalty minutes. He also played in three pre-season games and registered 12 minutes in penalties. Calgary signed Godard as a free agent on August 10th, 2006. Last edited by VodkaFish; 01-18-2007 at 08:05 PM. I believe him this time too, but a source would be appreciated.
Nice to see Calgary bring him back up, they know what happens if they play Minnesota without an enforcer. It just sucks that he dosnt stay up with the team, thats not really fair to Godard. Hes being pimped... |

If Godard is up for the Minnesota game, that fight should be a lock. Boogaard will be looking to avenge his loss, and will probably have a fire lit under his ass this time...
Should be an interesting fight, either guy could KO/TKO the other as we saw in the first fight... |
