Edmonton Signs Ryan Keller to One-Year Deal
General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with free agent forward Ryan Keller on a one-year contract.
Keller, 27, played in 71 games last season with the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League collecting 51 points (32G, 19A). The 5’11”, 186-pound Saskatoon, SK native was the captain of the Senators and helped lead them to their first Calder Cup Championship last year. In 23 post-season games he scored 10 goals and added 15 assists for 25 points. Keller played his junior with the Saskatoon Blades from 2001-2004 and recorded 237 points (120G, 117A) in 251 games. He was also a member of Team Canada at the 2002 IIHF World U18 Championship.
