Time will tell, but those sound like bet'n words to me!

This is a scenario where it would be cool to be able to bet your v-cash against other members. Just to spice things up a bit, and maybe send someone back to "The Man" begg'n for another fifty.

No matter few big trades in the West and Sharks getting Guerin, Ducks are still my favorites to win the cup. They have enough grit to be successful in playoffs. Ducks have really good balansed all around team.

It will be interesting to see, what role will May play there.

this is not really a great trade... i think the avs just want some salary dumped since they have a 6 million ALBATROSS for next year riding on the bench.

lol, it would be funny to see Wall push out Theo though... lol

May has had exactly ZERO fights this year, and that's not surprising since he suffered a serious shoulder injury. He also has scored exactly zero goals, and last year he was a minus 14. He's also 36, and it's not clear that he has much left. Right now, Cody McCormick would probably be more effective.

Barry Melrose today on espn news calls ducks biggest losers on trade day. He said a lot of questions will need to be asked after they lose in round 1 or 2.....

If Barry said that then prepare for Lord Stanley Anaheim!

All I gotta say is I love the DUCKS!!! They can go out and get like Guerin or a D-man and instead they get a grinder in Brad May, adding more toughness.

Parros, May, O'Donnell, Thornton, Getzlaf, DiPenta....they also have Hoffman in the minors. They are awesome and I love the Ducks this year. Great team!

Imagine a 3rd line and 4th line
Perry-Getzlaf-Thornton

Parros-hartigan-May (i think its hartigan)

The Ducks already have toughness, well dispersed in their roster.

This is a poor move by management, who in turn get a washed up grinder.

Stick with The 'Stache!

Yeah tough guy alright.. First game with the ducks plays 2 shifts and is out with yet another injury (didn't return in the game with the kings). Bad move by the ducks on trade day. bad lack of moves by the ducks. They looked evenly matched tonight against last place kings, we will see how they fair against the sharks tomorrow.

Oh yeah and perry and Getsoff is so tough.

I know May is past his prime but still good to see Brad get a potential shot at winning a Cup. He will help them as a leader even if he is just a shadow of his former self.
