Justin Pogge has alot of potential, but he has not been in the right system to develop, Pogge is one of those kids that needs to find an AHL franchise that is going to give him the time to develop. If anyone says that he had enough time in the Maple Leafs system, well they are flucken nuts, It is hard to develop as a goalie if you are playing with players that play NO defensive system, an your cupboard was really bare of prospects in the years you were there. Pogge was 19-9-5 last year bouncing around between three ahl an Echl teams, witch are good numbers for a young goalie. Pogge has got the size at 6,3 - 210. Hopefully Pogge can put it together an make a good carreer out of his talent, even if it is as a carreer back-up goalie, ala Alex Auld.....

Don't get me wrong I am not comparing Rask an Karlsson to Pogge, but to my point that most goalies develop later because of many factors.... What if everyone gave up on an aging in Tim Thomas, would Boston be celebrating this summer, I don't think so...... |
