Coyotes Sign Henrik Samuelsson to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed 2012 first round draft choice forward Henrik Samuelsson of the Edmonton Oil Kings (Western Hockey League) to a three-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Samuelsson has posted 32-47-79 in 67 games with the Oil Kings this season. He currently ranks third on the team in goals and points.

The 19-year-old native of Scottsdale, Arizona finished the 2011-12 season with Edmonton, recording 7-16-23 in 28 games with the Oil Kings after recording 0-2-2 in 15 games with Modo Hockey Ornskoldsvik (Swedish Elite League).

Samuelsson was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the first round (27th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Not that kind of dirty. As a forward he isn't a knee targeting douche bag like his Dad. But he is always sticking guys, running his mouth and acting like an asshole. All the while his gloves are usually glued on. He'd fit right in on the Canucks.
