Coyotes Recall Josh Gratton
Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have recalled left wing Josh Gratton from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.

The 6-foot-2, 214 pound Gratton has played 5 games with the Coyotes this season, recording 22 penalty minutes. In 3 games with the San Antonio Rampage, Gratton collected 1-1-2 and 8 penalty minutes.

Last season, the 25-year-old native of Brantford, Ontario played 14 games with Philadelphia and Phoenix, recording one goal and 44 penalty minutes.

Gratton was acquired by the Coyotes from the Philadelphia Flyers along with two second round draft choices in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft for Denis Gauthier on March 9, 2006.

Scatchard tweaked his knee on Saturday. Supposedly it's nothing more than that, so I'd expect Gratton to be up until Scatch is back.
