Regardless, around here, we appreciate guys who actually want to fight, as opposed to those that just see fighting as a job that they're obliged to do, but not necessarily embrace.

I can't remember a player who, in recent memory, has worked as hard as Bissonette has to earn his way into an NHL lineup. Good for him, and I wish he were still in the Pens' organization.

Since it's the players decision to be a scratch right?

Everytime I have seen Bissonnette play he enforces, unlike most fighters today. Not to mention when he fights, its not of the "staged" value we also see today.

By looking "tough," the **** does that have to do with anything? The guy fights whoever and whenever, and does it out of anger, not as something he "has" to do. Not to mention he doesnt back down even if he is outsized.

I know most are not a fan of his fighting style or abilities, but beggers cant be choosers here, you bitch and cry about the lack of fighters and fighting, yet you still continue to bitch and cry when one is signed and one who will bring it night in and night out.

If anything just look at it as another player who fights, who will give opportunities to other players to fight.

Biz nasty actually can choose if he gets scratched or not, all he has to do is show the coaches that he is too good to be scratched and he is not doing that, so in the healthy scratch box he goes

No Ruggy, it's like analogizing that one boring fighter is an smaller version of another boring fighter and is taking a spot that a better fighter could be occupying.

I'm not talking about his playing ability. I'm talking about his horrible style, his fights are a bore. I would be extremely disappointed if he was my teams only fighter. Especially if they had a more capable one in the minors.

It's my personal opinion on him, I dislike him, a lot. He could be my least favorite fighter in the entire league. Good for him being signed, good for me it's in Phoenix.

Great for Biz Nasty. Starting the season in the bigs next year will help him get rolling faster. As for his scratches, yea he's had a bunch the last month or so. But so have King, Asham, Boulton, etc. so its not all that unusual.

Are you kidding me? So.. how would you suggest he shows the coaches he's too good to be scratched? Score more? Fight more? Hit more?

You know there's probably a good reason why PHX re-signed him, don't you think? Or...in a salary cap world, teams like PHX (who by the way are run by the league still) like to throw their money away, because.. the salary cap means nothing to them.

I've followed Biz since he was in the ECHL in Wheeling. Started as an offensive D-man who would throw down. While he was there he wore a WWE Championship belt during one one of the warm-ups to taunt an opposing player. After this, he was sent home from camp and told to await a trade.

After making the ECHL All-Star team for two straight years, and changing his attitude, he was called up to Wilkes-Barre (AHL) where he was soon turned into a left wing forward by the coaches (Todd Richards and Dan Bylsma). He started to become my favorite fighter because he would go out and fight anyone and finish every check. Also, he was such a good guy after meeting him a few times.

Hopefully one day hell make it back to Pittsburgh.

For everyone shytting on this because he's been a healthy scratch and he's seen more press box time than ice time, I look at PL3 in NJ. Only played in 8 games his first year in NJ, signed a 2 year extension and the team still brought in Peters, but since the Olympic break he's played himself into the lineup even against teams who don't carry an opposing enforcer. Bissonnette could also find himself in much the same situation if he keeps it up, and that's good for all of us.
