Coyotes Ink Brendan Shinnimin to Entry-Level Deal

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have signed junior free-agent center Brendan Shinnimin of the Tri-City Americans (Western Hockey League) to a three-year entry-level contract.

“Brendan attended our 2011 Training Camp last September and has had a terrific season to date,” said Maloney. “His offensive statistics are impressive yet it is his character, work ethic and competitive level we are excited to add to our organization.”

The 5-foot-10, 180 pound Shinnimin has recorded 52-65-117 in 60 games with Tri-City (WHL) this season. He was named the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Player of the Month for February in addition to the WHL Player of the Month for February, leading all WHL scorers by collecting an unprecedented 43 points (20-23-43).

The 21-year-old gathered points in all 14 games in February, including a 10-game goal streak which he netted 21 goals. Shinnimin also produced 11 multi-point games, helping lead the Americans to a 10-3-0-1 record in February and an overall record of 45-15-1-2.

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native has set career highs in goals (52), assists (65), points (117) and plus-minus (plus-41) this season. In 258 regular season games (four full seasons) with the Americans, Shinnimin has recorded 125-195-316. In 43 postseason contests, he has registered 12-29-41.

I could rant about this scumbag for hours and hours but I don't have the desire or motivation to do so anymore. He's been a little less of a bitch this season as opposed to seasons past.

Well nothings funner than listening to a conversation that you have no idea what it's about. All I know is the kid is little and putting up big numbers. If you'd like to elaborate on your feelings that'd be nice.
Sounds like a good signing to me.
