Only for three games and after being scratched most of the year. No doubt the West has toughness, but rarely more than 1 guy.

unlike loser as DJ king.

Other guys like big GL didnt like his job.

John Scott seems to accept it more and more.

I feel andrew Peters didnt either from 09-10

Eric Godard lost his spark as well.

Its a super hard job to do. so draining physically and mentally. Also afraid to be a beast due to suspension. these guys getting 5.5-800k cant afford to get 10 game suspensions. teams only dressing one guy is what causes these guys to get burnt out. also getting scratched makes them feel separate i bet.

Gillies, Janssen, Orr love their jobs. as well as a bunch of others like Wrecker.

Don't know about Peters though, he did have 9 fights in 29 games with Jersey and 11 in 28 with Buffalo before that and fought with some heart. He was never too good at it but he was trying.

I don't know if King hated his job. His dumbass coach wouldn't play him. But when he did play, he did fight.

Yes but he was a healthy scratch for most of the regular season. Which is ridiculous because he really isn't that bad of a player. He's responsible defensively and that is what's most important for a tough guy. Tippett just seems to prefer dressing a wimpy line up.

skating

We enjoyed having him in Hershey. A fan favorite. I have no doubt he could fight anyone the NHL has to offer. His problem is that he has NHL toughness to go along with ECHL skills. Unless he really works on his skating during the summer, he will continue to have trouble keeping up with the play, even at the AHL level.

You have a lot of nerve talking about the Boston school system and then green-lighting a post such as this one.

He had 1 fight in Hershey last year. He showed no interest in it. Even when his players were being run and Wrecker wasn't dressed. The guy checked out unfortunately.

The one fight was against Myles Steoz no less, after Wrecker beat him up in the first period already. In 29 games 1 fight against a fighter who already lost a fight in the game, that's is 100% checking out and losing all interest.
