Oh snap. Looks like we got a solid defenseman and the coyotes are okay with giving Boedker top 6 minutes.
Lepisto sucks, so no loss there. Upshall is alright, but we need better defense since Jovanovski is out and we can afford to lose a forward since we have promising prospects. |

Phoenix lost this trade though, but i see a sense when Jovocop has been hurted so getting Kiesla to the team.
Kiesla isnt still that enough good player in this exchange as Phoenix lost nice forward Upshall and decent defenseman Lepisto. Last edited by Juha82; 02-28-2011 at 01:02 PM. |

The coyotes rely to much on Bryz in net. there defense is weaker this year after losing Michalek to free agency.
Lepisto is a disaster on defense. Horrible player. Scotty is a solid forward. But the yotes needed to upgrade there D. They lead the league in players with over 10 goals. So they have balanced scoring. |

Cant say I am thrilled. But this gives us a strong shut down type dman that we have lacked with Kurt Sauer shelved.
Scottie was a good guy here in Phoenix, but hes replacable. With the interview with Hulsizer last night it sounds like the ownership stuff will be resolved. I would bet we make another deal. Boedker can play, as we all have seen, so thats ok, He just doesnt have that physical game Scottie brought. Good trade for both teams.
