Columbus Waives Fredrik Norrena

Fredrik Norrena was placed on waivers on Monday. Every NHL team has until noon Tuesday to claim the Blue Jackets number three netminder. He was made redundant by the outstanding play of rookie Steve Mason, who has surplanted Pascal Leclaire as the team's top goalie.

I know Burke doesn't like Europeans, but Toronto should pick this guy up. He'd be a BIG upgrade over Joseph for the back-up role.
