COLUMBUS, OHIO – The
Columbus Blue Jackets have activated right wing
Derek Dorsett off Injured Reserve, General Manager Scott Howson announced today.
Dorsett, 22, was injured against Anaheim on December 12, has missed 15 games due to the injury. He has registered one goal and three assists for four points, 60 penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in 18 games this season. The Kindersley, Saskatchewan native tallied 4-1-5 and 150 penalty minutes in 52 games during his rookie season in 2008-09. He was the Blue Jackets’ ninth pick, 189th overall, in the 2006 Entry Draft.
