That's what I was going to ask so instead I'll say that it makes the most sense for the Bruins to send him back instead of sitting up in the press box for what Boston would hope to be a long playoff run.

So if they do send him back and Plymouth gets bounced while the Bruins are still playing can the Bruins call him back and put him in the lineup?

Yep he can be called back up when the playoffs are over , but with him in their lineup Plymouth becomes a team not to be taken lightly ..
