Love Chris Kelly. Not bad value for Boston, he will become a fan favorite there for sure.

Burn it down Ottawa!

I hope Ottawa has started to look for a GM who knows what he's doing with all these picks. I don't get how Murray can be charged with starting the rebuild when he'll be gone by the draft. Lack of options I guess

surprised that Ottawa traded within the division to be honest, a second rounder for him can be a wash, all depending who makes the drafting come July 1. We all know that once the season is done and over with, Clouston and Murray will both be booted.

Antonio's quote says Kelly is 30 years old while Killah Punks TSN quote says he's 25. So which is it? Boston gets a servicable role player while Ottawa gets a 2nd rounder which may turn into a role player pick so it works out fairly even.

I know Burke has a hard on for college or ex-college players but I doubt this will happen. He's looking for at least a top 6 forward in return and its a stretch to consider Wheeler a top 6 forward, IMO.

Yeah get this the Montreal papers are saying they want Krecji for Kaberle. I think both players are way overrated and Suk

Good trade by Boston. Kelly is very underrated and needed to get outta Ottawa. But this leaves Boston with a lot of centers, does it not? They had scratched Seguin for a few games, and just got back into the lineup last night. Now where does it leave him?

Bigjohnson the Bruins have 2.5 mill cap space , Wheeler for Kaberle would not give me any kind of heart failure , he could be a real asset down the road ..

As long as his junior team (the Plymouth Whalers OHL) have put him (Seguin) on their "protected player list" he can be sent back to them up until the 28 of FEB. , after that they have to keep him for the rest of the year ..

I'm not excited about it, sure it helps... but not near, near enough.
