The Bloomington, Minnesota, native was originally drafted by Colorado in the second round (34th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Colorado finally getting rid of all the Kevin Porters and Ryan Stoas who got the big guns but NEVER used them. Plus it can make more room for Bordeleau

Boy does he fit in well with the Caps. Big body and no desire to use it. He'll be a great roomie for Jeff Schultz, John Carlson and Karl Alzner if he makes the big club.
