Capitals Re-Sign Right Wing Matt Bradley
Washington, D.C. – The Washington Capitals have re-signed right wing Matt Bradley to a two-year contract, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.
Bradley, 28, had 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) in 74 games in his first season as a Capital in 2005-06. He ranked second on the team with 120 hits and recorded his first two two-goal games of his career (Oct. 13 vs. New York Islanders, March 29 at Carolina Hurricanes). Bradley’s point total ranked 12th on the Capitals and he was tied for 10th in goals. A 6’3”, 205-pound native of Stittsville, Ontario, Bradley is entering his ninth professional season. He joined the Capitals as a free agent last August and has played 277 career NHL games for Washington, Pittsburgh and San Jose. |

I like Brads, i thought he was a good spark plug last year, but how many role players can we sign I thought GMGM should have made a choice between Brads or Fata, and i would have taken Brads. The 4th line is going to be a rotating hodge podge every game

You can never have enough players like Bradley. Of course, unless that's all you have. Still, it's a good move.
