Im glad to see him stickin around, I have always liked him and it seemed like he picked up his play considerably last season.

As a Caps fan, i'm happy, I figured that with so much young blueline talent in the system.............Jurcina playing well and adding size, Poti coming that big John would be aced out. I'd be happy if they would trade Eminger.....but Green and Schultz (more size) played well as #1 pick rookies.

We have so many young high picks................that i can't recall all of them......like 5-6 #1 picks in 3-4 years on the backline.

That said, our sorry PK units showed much better when Erskine returned from injury. He played outstanding and as we all know is not only super willing but is only two years removed from a top 10-12 rating.

I hope that he stays healthy and plays. Well rounded hockey with a chance of real success is back in D.C.
