They already had an all Swedish line of Sedin, Sedin, Naslund. It was dubbed the tre kronor line or the Swedish express.

I like the SSS line.

You might be on to something. Margerine has many more chemicals to keep it more stable. I would think butter could be softer depending on where they are in the room. If the margerine was near the stove though it could get softer.

The Sedins are definitely not soft players. They take as much physical abuse without complaint than anyone in the league.

Taking abuse without complaint doesn't result in you being a tough guy. They had a COMBINED 31 hits last year and they both played 82 games. That means ONE of the Sedin's would register a hit every 5 games. The Twins are as soft as they come. Very durable players though.

Obviously they're not physical guys. But soft to me means shying away from the physical play. While the twins may not initiate stuff, they play the majority of their game in the corners taking hits. Sure, they're not tough guys, but they're not typical Swedes either.

If he can pot 25 goals, this is a very good signing.

He's not a shoe in for the 2nd line though. I'll reserve judgement on the 'soft'
until I see him play.
"Soft" to me is a guy who bails on the play if he might get hit, doesn't show up for big games etc...I don't need him to fight; but he can't help the team if he plays chicken5hit either.

I can't stand this guy. To me, Samuelsson was one of a group of players who fit in great with the Red Wings because of the style of hockey they played the talent that surrounded him. He was just an easily replaceable part on a strong hockey team. On pretty much any other team in the league, I don't expect to see Samuelsson be nearly as effective or productive as he was with the Wings. The way I see it, unless he gets the opportunity to play on a line with the Sedins and ends up clicking with them, he'll be fairly useless in Vancouver.
