Well pecker head everything he said after the trade dead line and in the summer, didn't apply to Toronto. Unless your going years back to his rookie years and **** which would be irrelevant. Who's a fav player of yours?

I am happy, this makes Vancover out of the running for Gaborik and gives the Kings a better chance of landing him.

Why are Leafs fans so angry? Is it because with your fan base, payroll and support you should have WON the cup at least ONCE since 1967? My favourite player is Jesus. But he's on the IR with "Hand Injuries" Last edited by flex_buff_chest; 12-18-2008 at 07:44 PM. |

I hated him as a Queef. I hated him for manipulating the media. I hated him for taking a third of the season to decide. And I hate him even more for going to Vancouver. Steve - I could care less that he landed in Vancouver. A bit jealous, no doubt. Your GM is committed to giving your team help. But, that said, I hate Sundin, always have, and likely always will. I didn't want him on the Wild, nor do I. He's a me first player, as clearly evident with this whole "take my time and decide if I wanna play" bull****. And frankly, we have enough of that in Minnesota with #10. Props to Vancouver for improving the team leaps and bounds, doesn't take away from the fact I hope he gets hurt. |

You hope he gets hurt, I hope he scores a hat-trick to eliminate Minny from the play-offs. That's kind of the nature of division rival fans.

Gonna be interesting, hopefuly he help the Nucks kick ass and Excel......... but signings like this can easily fuk up a team.

At least this long saga finally comes to an end. I hate this sitting out half the year bullsh*t deciding whether and where to play, I don't care what you accomplished during your career. Eddie f*ckin Shore could decide to make a comeback from the grave and I still wouldn't like it if he sat out half the season dicking around with the media by setting arbitrary deadlines and all that crap. F*ck Scott Niedermayer for starting this recent trend, and f*ck Sundin for continuing it.
Mats did go to the team where he's a better fit in my opinion. If he comes to play at a high level and not just collect his overinflated paycheck, the Canucks have greatly improved their offense. If I were a Ranger fan, I'd be happy you guys didn't get him. The guy hasn't played hockey in a while, he's old, and definitely not the same player he was a few years ago. You don't know what you're going to get out of him, and they would have had to move a key player in order to make cap space. Why mess with the chemistry of a first place team like that? Granted, the shootout and overtime have been VERY kind to the Rangers this year, and they do have a lot of holes in their game, but they still are finding ways to win games. A major roster shakeup on a winning team is never a good idea the way I see it. In summary, f*ck you Sundin, you're a selfish prick.

Always a real classy guy despite having to play for the Leafs all his career.
I would have bet he would have signed with the Rangers. Most players get mesermized by the big city of New York. Nice to see the Canucks win this one. The problem is Mats is a big name only now. More realistically he is an ageing superstar who will not live up to the hype surrounding his signing. |

Sundin is going to a good team with a excellent goaltender.
There are no excuses anymore. He pretty much has to win the Cup now or he will foverver be labeled a guy with good stats, but not enough jam to win the big games. Winning Gold in 2006 with a Lidstrom, Alfredson, Forsberg, Zetterberg and the Sedin's doesn't count. Lidstrom and Forsberg were the proven money players on that team. |
