You guys are missing the point, in regards to the Leaf fans, both of us, lol.

We knew this day was coming, it's not even a matter of where he signed, $$$, that's just part, the icing on the cake sort of.

As a Leaf, you couldn't say a bad thing about him, what he did for the team, if he was surrounded by ANY talent, what could have been.

It's all about what he said. He's a liar, and sure everyone lies, when this guy was as good as he was and did as much as he did for the team, and even the charity work in TO, it's almost as if it all means nothing. Well it does all mean nothing, to me.

Just the fact he says, and in no order..

- I want to stay a Leaf
- I don't believe in mid season signings
- I want to be with the team from the start in pre season
- I want to play for the stanley cup, (not 20M$)

And that's just part of it, don't wanna go into the "crippling" the team argument, but as soon as NHL regular season started and Sundin was not signed, it all ****ing meant nothing.

Yes, I've spoken out in the past about players sitting out half the year like Sundin did this year, and Neidermayer and Selanne did last year. God knows I would've preferred if he came in at training camp.

But, hey, we just added a future hall of famer to our roster mid-season, and how many teams can say that. So, I'm happy. This is the exact roster move we needed to become contenders.

Sure, I'm biased because my team got him. But all the rest of you are just as biased because your team didn't get him. He was not under contract so he has the right to change his mind as many times as he wants.
