Canucks Sign Lukas Krajicek To A One Year Deal

According to the TEAM 1040. I'm guessing an official press release will be out very shortly.

I can't say im very excited about the Krajicek signing, its good to see Burrows back though, he was fun to watch. I hope this Krajicek guy can produce offensively like everyone says he is gonna do.

Actually guys the Burrows signing isn't quite official yet. Although I'm sure it'll get done within the next few weeks.

Krajicek's deal is a one year deal worth $600,000.

I had the opportunity to watch him all last year in Florida. Although he improved from the 03-04 season, he was still a defensive liability in his own zone. On the offensive side of the puck he was decent, with potential. He is either going to become a solid offensive defenceman or a 6th or 7th deffenceman. But for the price of 600k this looks like a pretty good signing as of now.

Very interested to see how he does in Vancouver. He better be up to posting big minutes, he's already been pencilled in as a top 4 guy, hasn't he. Doesn't say much for the Canucks D right now....hmmm.

Still remember his agent Petr Svoboda saying the fans in Vancouver will be "shocked" at how good his client really is....
