Anybody pick this dude to sign the largest deal on day one of free agency? Didn't think so.

Insane contract and a huge gamble by Vancouver. Yeesh

Redden was actually a productive and serviceable defenseman at one point. Garrison has never been. Who knows, maybe he'll continue to build on his career year last season. Either way the term is way too long.

Its early but i probably would take wade redden over this jason Garrison, but he is now one of my boys, so I have 6 years to ride this one out. The Sedins can probably pad his stats. Im guessing he is already on the PP unit.
