He spent the 2011.12 season with the Edmonton Oilers where he registered two points (2-0-2) and 23 penalty minutes in 25 games. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native has played 296 career NHL games, collecting 94 points (21-73-94) and 286 penalty minutes. this is his last kick before he gets burried in the minors and proves to be a bust. hopefully he can live up to that hype, way back in his blackhawk days.

I remember when he was this huge defensive prospect and was goiong to be a top 2 for the Hawks. You kinda need to know how to skate backwards for that.

He's a bust & apparently has some off ice problems.

When he first came up I kept waiting for this big moose to assert himself, physically, in the league. I don't mean just fighting, I mean taking the body, checking the hell out of guys coming down the boards and letting people know they had a price to pay for coming into the zone. Never happened.

In the fighting department there wasn't much there either.

Given my disdain for both Cam and the Canucks, this it the best news I've received in a long time.

In his stint with the Wild he earned the reputation as a veritable traffic cone, as opposing players were able to walk around him with relative ease. I still cannot believe that the Wild traded away Nick Leddy for that bum. That was a very Riseborough-esque move by current GM Fletcher.
