I saw it. The hit was on Meech. Cowan left his feet and put his hands into Meech's face. Not really a vicious hit, but a headshot, and with the crackdown this suspension is fair.

Not that bad of a punishment given all the rhetoric about headshots. I've got no real problem with the decision.

It was a shot to the head - a one game suspension is fair in this case.

1 game is fair enough. It was a pretty dirty hit. Meech was lucky he didn't get hurt worse then he did.

One game for a head-hunt? Sure, why not? Not at all consistent with what the NHL has been handing out... But who really thinks the league does anything right these days?

Good thing Cowan wasn't a Flyer.

It was a high headshot. I didn't think it would be considered a suspension at the time. I don't have a problem with it.
