Canucks assign Alexandre Bolduc to Manitoba
The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have assigned forward Alexandre Bolduc to the Moose.
Bolduc, 25, has played in one game this season with the Canucks before suffering an injury Oct. 9/10 vs. Los Angeles. He had previously appeared in 23 career NHL games with Vancouver where he's collected an assist and 17 penalty minutes. Bolduc has also played in 207 career AHL games with the Moose over the course of his six-year pro career. In that span, he's scored 92points (39g, 53a) and collected 299 penalty minutes. He was awarded the team's Unsung Hero Award in 2008. He has also played in 24 career Calder Cup playoff games with Manitoba where he's scored 10 points (6g, 4a) and 28 penalty minutes. Bolduc was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fourth round, 127th overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
