I hope, but now it's time to get a real HW. Staubitz can't play for sh1t and can't fight HWs for sh1t but if he fights he'll provide some entertainment at least.

Max Pacioretty - David Desharnais - Erik Cole
René Bourque - Tomas Plekanec - Scott Gomez Mathieu Darche - Lars Eller - Louis Leblanc Travis Moen - Ryan White - Brad Staubitz (Aaron Palushaj, Andreas Engqvist) P.K. Subban - Josh Gorges Tomas Kaberle - Alexei Emelin Raphaël Diaz - Yannick Weber (Chris Campoli, Frédéric St-Denis) Not bad for a 4th line when Travis Moen is back. But we definitly need to give our defense squad a bit of size and grit. Diaz or Weber should move and we should fill this spot with a guy like Matt Carkner or Jim Vandermeer on july 1st. With that high first round pick, the Habs must draft Brendan Gaunce, a big sized centreman that drops the gloves sometimes. Plus we buyout Scott Gomez and Gionta is back, so next year it looks like that: Max Pacioretty - David Desharnais - Erik Cole Rene Bourque - Tomas Plekanec - Brian Gionta Mathieu Darche - Lars Eller - Louis Leblanc Brad Staubitz - Ryan White - Travis Moen Andrei Markov - Alexei Emelin (puck moving - defensive) P.K. Subban - Josh Gorges (puck moving - defensive) Matt Carkner - Raphaël Diaz (defensive - puck moving) Last edited by fcm; 02-27-2012 at 01:56 PM. |

I just expect it, Gauthier likes him for sure. I'd trade him away for a 9th round pick but whatever, I expect him to be re-signed, 700 000$ for a guy that takes a regular shift... he's good with the youngters also, for them who move a lot between Hamilton and Montreal.

Hopefully we move that useless pant load Chris Campoli and we bring up Alex Henry... We can only hope....

I was hoping that for the Cunneyworth thing the Habs would've tried to shape up and reconcile a little and gotten Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, Andre Deveaux and Jean-Francois Jacques and play them on a line to earn back some respect from franchophone and ole schoole hockey fans alike
![]() ![]() ![]() But seriously I think Staubitz would've been a better fit with the 'Canes or the 'Nucks right now..glad he's back tho |
