Canadiens Assign Garth Murray to Hamilton

MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens announced Friday that left winger Garth Murray has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Murray, 25, played one game with the Canadiens this season back on October 16 against the Panthers (his 100th NHL game). Murray, who was held pointless in that game, suffered a foot injury that forced him to miss six games, from October 18-30, 2007. He will join the Bulldogs on Monday November 12.
