Yes it would.

It would actually make a ticket worth the price of admission, and an energetic line like that will hopefully fill th Garden with some noise.

Something it has severely lacked (with the exception of Canadiens games) for the last two years.

This made my week, and it's only Monday.
What I like the most is that it's a one-way contract, and for multiple years.
This is just awesome. Boston now has a legit 1-2 punch with Thornton and Reich.

AWESOME

Good job by Boston, and the 1-way contract is an added bonus. I didn't think he was coming back to the Bruins, but I'm glad he is.

Honestly, the Bruins are finally getting it. To win in this league you still need to be tough, i.e. the Ducks. But let's not forget that the so called "skilled" players are still not here.

If the Bruins could use their 6 million in cap space to pickup 1 or 2 good forwards they would have a GREAT team. As it stands now, I think the Bruins have the toughest 4th line in the league.

Pretty good 1-2 punch at that IMO.

Hendricks can drop them too !
It will be very tough to fight the Bruins with Thornton,Reich and Chara. Alberts,Ference,Ward and Wideman will bring in some grit also.

Sweet...I feel like a pre lock-out hockey fan again...The "old" NHL may have returned in Boston...I think The B's are now one of the tougher teams out there...looking forward to the season!

I don't think they have the toughest in the league. The Stars, Ducks and Lightning are way ahead right now. But now we have a great one two punch to rival Peters-Mair, Belak-Tucker, McGrattan-Neil, and Kostopoulos.

Ference, Ward and Wideman aren't ones to strike fear into opponents, but they will fight when prompted.

I wonder if Hendricks will center the 4th line for the Bruins this upcoming season? From what I've heard about him, he's got some skill and he's pretty tough for a former college player.

Jeremy Reich signed a one-way two-year deal that will pay him $475,000 in 2007-08 and $500,000 in 2008-09. Reich's annual cap hit will be $487,500.

"A number of teams were certainly interested," said Tim Hodgson, Reich's agent. "But Boston was Jeremy's first choice. He got his opportunity the last couple months at the end of last season, and he seemed to make the adjustment quite well."
