I can't belive this, they have 4 guys who can fight heavyweights-
IMO they are the toughest team from the whole NHL right now.
Lucky Bruins fans!

They'll probably give Lucic the 7-9 games before he'll be sent to the WHL again. I doubt he'll stay with the Bruins the whole season. But I'll be happy with Reich and Thornton as regulars too.

That is if they play every night, as there are now two extra forwards, counting the unsigned metropolit, one can only hope. Thornton, Reich, Lucic, Chara, Alberts, Wideman, Ward, Ference, and Stuart will all go if the need arises, so I feel there may be a few scraps in the Boston defensive zone this year..

Considering the Bruins are on the West Coast (Dallas, Phoenix, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Jose) to start the season, I am guessing Lucic will play those first 5 games and then shimmy his way to Vancouver when the Bruin's head home to Boston.

Good opportunity for Lucic, but I'm not sure he'll stick. Still, the Bruins roster looks pretty entertaining for us right now.

Sadly, I agree...I don't think the chances are too good of him sticking past the first 10 games (or maybe 5 due to where they are; like you said).

That said, it's pretty clear this kid has caught their eye and done everything he could possibly do to remain with the team so if there are injuries to one of the top 9 fowards; I'd imagine he'll get the call up.

This might mean Reich will be scratched for the first few games as well, until Lucic is sent back down.

Simply awesome, but I think that Lucic will be guaranteed 9 games to see how he can perform against the big boys, and if he can't then he will probably be sent back. Hopefully he stays.

That's exactly what will happen. Although that's great for Milan to get to play in some real NHL action and have a taste of the big leagues so he'll be even more prepared to make the team full time next season.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he stays.
