NHL disciplinarian, Brendan Shanahan to release a new app. The "Shanaban App" will allow you to log in and see if you're suspended.

I'll repeat what I said in another thread. The whole "Bruins conspiracy" crap has gotten old ever since Dan Paille got the 4-gamer last year.

OK by me...
Not a fan of all the suspensions and fines but it was pretty blantant.
If you are a fan of "Old time hockey" you have got to be a fan of the way the Bruins play. Not a fan of the Bruin team but a fan of the style of play. And please don't start the **** about it being "Dirty". If you play with the aggressive edge to your game there are time where it will be considered "Dirty". But for Christs sake get honest and admit you would love for your favorite team to play the same style.

I was just talking about taking him to a home game because the B's seem to play pretty well on home ice. Might reduce him to tears you know. My mom dosent like it when I give death threats from her house so it was just a polite invitation.

We need a conspiracy thread
I'll freely admit to hating the refs for what I perceived as preferential treatment for the Habs growing up in the 80's and early 90's (the last time that Montreal was truly a successful franchise). However, I never thought it was some league-wide conspiracy mounted on behalf of the Habs. Some of the posts in this forum give me serious doubts about the mental health (and abilities) of a few of you. The Bruins won the Cup because they outhustled, outhit, and outworked their opponents, and got some four star goaltending from Thomas. There's nothing unbeatable about this team. Calling it a "tainted Cup" doesn't make your insane theories any more true and it doesn't make you witty. It just makes you sound like a sour grapes chick who never got called back.

Superstar players get prefferential treatment in the NHL, not just Bruins.
Lucic can't keep giving guys two handers to the back of guys heads and running all world goalies and get away with it, while guys they suspend every other player for anything near the head. Chara can't run a guy who he was mad at into a stantion and get away with it, while they suspend every other average player in the NHL, and you pretend it's not happening. You can't watch the NHL make a big deal about Ville Lieno's missed elbow, while completey ignore malkin's and think something isn't up. You can't watch them suspend every player for every little thing, yet they let Marchand slam a dude down from behind where the back of his head could hit the ice, and they slap him with a jay walking fine, and not think something is up.

Good - at least he got something. I hate slewfoots and I hate Marchand. Hopefully the next time he does something stupid he gets more than just a slap on the wrist.

I thought him cutting under the hit of Erik Gudbranson was worse, the dude landed right on his head a foot away from the boards.
