For his career, Boyes has skated in 472 National Hockey League (NHL) games, recording 335 points (145 goals, 190 assists) and 163 penalty minutes.

Interesting deal - Boyes's numbers have been disappointing since he bust out with that 42, than a 33 goal season a couple years, but he had already hit last years numbers this season. Still, kind of felt like he slipped down the Blues depth chart with all the other younger talent being more in the future plans than him. If he can find that scoring touch again he could be a good pickup for the Sabres.

Nope. Boyes is purely a winger now.

I was thinking the Sabres have a need for a center more than another winger so maybe they will give him a shot there. Time will tell I suppose.
