Blues Reduce Roster to 28 Players
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has reduced their roster to 28 players.

Defenseman Andy Wozniewski and forwards Matt Foy, Charles Linglet, Steve Regier, Trent Whitfield and Brad Winchester and were all assigned to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

I think the Winchester move was somewhat expected. They've already got their 2 heavies, plus several middles, and this will toughen up Peoria, which is always good.
