Blues Recall D.J. King from Peoria
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled forward D.J. King from the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
King, 22, made his NHL debut with the Blues this season on Oct. 5 at San Jose. He has played in six games and registered nine penalty minutes. King has skated in 28 games with Peoria, recording five points (three goals, two assists) along with a team-high 87 penalty minutes. The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native forward was originally the Blues sixth-round selection, 190th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
