Blues Recall D.J. King from Peoria

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has recalled forward D.J. King from the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

King, 22, made his NHL debut with the Blues this season on Oct. 5 at San Jose. He has played in six games and registered nine penalty minutes. King has skated in 28 games with Peoria, recording five points (three goals, two assists) along with a team-high 87 penalty minutes.

The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native forward was originally the Blues sixth-round selection, 190th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Red wings recall no one, this was a false situation, Booter was not recalled

It is kinda odd, all the call ups. Maybe it has somethin to do with the trade deadline? or something. who knows. If Chicago would just call up Low and Koci now.

Thats why I was so excited...

Tomorrow night:
Shelley VS. King
Boogaard VS. Godard

I hope both these fights happen so bad! Very good chance they will, King and Godard will be looking to earn that roster spot.

Why didn't they call up King for the Preds game?
It's cool that he's up now, but a King/Hordi fight would've been nice.

It's like Christmas today, but both King and Godard are only one punch away, against two very tough opponents, from being right back in the A.
