The 6-1, 206-pound forward tied a Blues record for the fastest goal from the start of a game at eight seconds on March 16 vs. Colorado. Over the past five seasons, Steen has played in 382 NHL games, amassing 197 points (80 goals, 117 assists) along with 160 penalty minutes. The Winnipeg, Manitoba native was acquired by the Blues from Toronto on Nov. 24, 2008 and was originally drafted by Toronto in the first round, 24th overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
