You don't have to worry about him going anywhere.
He's GAURANTEED a roster spot. He will make it. He just received a new 3-year deal from the Blues this offseason, and it's a one-way contract. The Blues love this kid and the toughness he provides. Not only that, but they put our CAPTAIN, Dallas Drake, on waivers to give him some playing time. That's saying a lot, so I know for sure that he will get a ton of time this year on the 4th line. To cut the captain to make room for King is pretty awesome. This kid will be the Blues' full-time heavyweight for many years to come. In fact, all of our fighters are safe and sound. We have 5 more cuts to make, and they will likely be David Tanabe, Martin Kariya, Steve Wagner, Mike Johnson, and Mike Glumac.
