Blues assign Tyson Strachan and Yan Stastny to Peoria
ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has assigned defenseman, Tyson Strachan and center, Yan Stastny to the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

I guess this means Oshie is close to coming back and should be playing on Thursday. With Strachan going down I guess that means they are now comfortable with Brewer. When Jackman comes back they will have Pietrangelo sent back to Juniors or we see a player waived or traded. I think this sucks for Strachan as he is a good young player who will drop the gloves every now and then. This is when I am not a fan of Murray and his age over talent philosophy. Pietrangelo and Strachan should both be over Weaver and Sydor.

Hopefully with Oshie back, the Blues will finally score a goal. Be good to have Jackman back too. I'm not a big fan of Weaver either.

I heard Oshie isnt gonna come back until next week. Has something changed? Also in regards to Jackman, I heard he's skating, but again with him, is he (or both) coming back earlier? I hope so.

Oshie should be back Thursday along with Jackman and Colo. McDonald is iffy according to the Blues.
